EOS 5D Mark II – now with manual video

Canon’s impressive new tool for video just got better
Canon have listened to their users and released a new firmware update today to provide full manual control of ISO, Shutter speed and aperture in the camera’s video mode.
The EOS 5D Mark II is noted for its superb quality video which, coupled with fast EF lenses, provides a beautiful, film-like look to the footage. Sadly, the update does not disable the auto gain on the audio, but lets be optimistic for a future update.
In the meantime, the firmware update can be downloaded from Canon Europe’s CPN Site
